TV Hypnotist Helps Guy Ritchie Stay Calm During Divorce

The People reports Guy Ritchie has turned to television hypnotist Paul McKenna to help him get through his divorce from . “A few people had commented on how well Guy seemed to be doing considering the turmoil in his private life,” a source told the British tabloid. “He confessed it is all thanks to Paul McKenna who has helped him with relaxation and given him tools to help deal with his problems.” Read more.

Dana Parish Performs ‘Not My Problem’ On ‘The Early Show’

Dana Parish visited ‘The Early Show’ to perform a song from her debut album ‘Uncrushed’. Parish said getting her first album out was “unbelievable” and made her “thrilled beyond words. Haven’t slept in about five weeks.” She added that she “was very honored to be asked” to have her song ‘Today’ featured in the the YouVote effort to get people to vote on Tuesday. Creepy Stalker Obsessed With Cheryl Cole

The People reports stalker Barry George, who is on the Sex Offenders’ Register and was cleared of murdering BBC presenter Jill Dando in August, has begun focusing his attention on Girls Aloud star . “Barry has become obsessed with Cheryl since she has been on ‘The X Factor’,” a source told the British tabloid. “He thinks she is beautiful. He is desperate to meet her so asked if he could go to the show. The tickets are like gold dust but he begged and begged. It threw staff into a red alert.”

Though the 48-year-old’s ticket request was rejected, the tipster added, “Barry has no qualms about going where he isn’t wanted. He is a self confessed stalker and will go to any lengths to meet someone.” The full story at people.co.uk has since been removed.

Marit Larsen Previews Tour Kicking Off Thursday

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Sunday (November 2) as the Norwegian singer songwriter prepares to go on tour in support of her second album ‘The Chase’. The former M2M singer tells readers:

1. The tour. 2. The songs. 3. The band. 4. The opening act.

1. Oh boy. Starting Thursday, I will be heading back out on the road. Finally! I have been looking forward to this for months.

2. I’m thrilled to have two full albums to choose from when making set lists. I truly enjoy playing my new songs along with the older ones.

3. Along with me on tour I have a phenomenal band consisting of Marius Graff (acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, banjo, lap steel and vocals), Even Ormestad (bass and synth), Karim Sayed (drums and vocals), Øystein Moen (keys) and Line Horntveth (vocals and percussion).

4. The lovely new Norwegian indie pop band My Little Pony will be coming along as our opening act on a few selected dates of the tour. Don’t miss out, I suspect it might be magical.

Uh Huh Her Are Like Oil And Vinegar

Camila Grey of spoke with the Toronto Sun about how she and bandmate Leisha Hailey tend to work from opposite points on the songwriting spectrum. “We’re very different, we’re kind of like oil and vinegar or salt and pepper,” Grey explained. “She’s more organic. She wants to write with guitars, whereas I want to produce the whole track in one fell swoop. We have very different writing styles, which I guess in this situation complement each other. She brings me down to earth and I make her technical.” Read more.

Anorah Hangs Out With Marie Serneholt After Her ‘Stars On Ice’ Elimination

Anorah checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Sunday (November 2), after hanging out with her friend and fellow Swedish pop singer . The former A-Teens star has been competing in TV4′s ‘Stars On Ice’ and was eliminated a few days ago. Anorah writes:

I’m so happy I finally got the chance to hang out with my bff Marie

She’s been so freakin’ busy with the ‘Stars on Ice’ show and haven’t had time for me. But now she’s back. I no one could be more happy than me, yey!!

Though I would have liked her to stay at least to the finals because she has developed sooooo much and was sooo worth being in the competition, but that’s a totally different story..

Backstreet Boys Happy For Jonas Brothers, Sad For ‘TRL’ Ending

MTV News caught up with the Backsteet Boys as the veteran boy band prepares to perform at the final taping of ‘Total Request Live’. Nick admits he isn’t ready to see the show that springboarded the group’s U.S. popularity come to a close. “Sad. This is something that we’ve been a part of since the beginning,” he said. “So many great memories. Why are you taking it off? What’s wrong with you guys? Things have to change.”

The guys were also excited to see their former tourmates the find so much success. “They opened for us on the ‘Never Gone Tour.’ They’re a talented bunch of kids. They’re growing up fast,” Brian Littrell said. “I don’t feel reluctant to give them advice. I’ll never forget: We were doing a show in Florida with the Temptations, and one of those guys stood up and said, ‘This is show business, and as you’re doing your show, your business could be running out on you.’ I’ll never forget that.”

I’m so relieved I don’t have to think about that now because I’ve found someone who loves me for me. Benji’s my best friend and I know he’d never hurt me.”
