Tyler Hilton Reacts To Barack Obama’s Victory

reacted to Barack Obama’s presidential election victory last night on his blog at MySpace earlier today. The singer songwriter tells readers:

What a very exciting time to be alive. Oh, how young that sounds, I know. But to get to see something like what happened last night live on TV and at an age where I can comprehend it all, has cast off any desires I’ve ever had to be alive in a different era.

For all of you who voted for Barrack Obama, was there not more then a little wonder about whether or not it would really happen? Smile to yourselves and don’t forget what a little effort can bring to you. And for all of you who voted differently, if you’re anything like the fair characters I’ve been talking to last night and today who agree with you, you’ll get behind him and be proud.

Nerina Pallot Stops Worrying & Enjoys Life After Obama Win

updated fans on her blog at MySpace on Wednesday (November 5), reacting to Barack Obama being elected as the 44th U.S. President. The British singer songwriter tells readers:

So I for one have stopped worrying and am enjoying life now that Barack Obama is the leader of the free world.

If any of you reading are nervous about this scary noo fing called socialism, do not fear, my Dixie cousins. You may have less to spend on SUVs and too many pairs of kiddy-manufactured Chinese trainers, but give it a few months, and if you’re in the middle of a cholesterol induced heart attack, the paramedic will now administer immediate help without asking you for proof of health insurance first. No longer will people get to survive mammoth surgery, only to come round, get handed the bill and die of shock from being bankrupted. This is a lovely thing, we’ve had it over here for a few years now – although it’s a bit wonky at the moment – and once you get used to the strange comfort that comes from it you’ll wonder why you never had it before.

Natasha Bedingfield Reacts To Barack Obama Victory

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Wednesday (November 5), reacting to the election of Barack Obama as the 44th U.S. President last night. The British pop singer writes:

It is amazing to be in America at such a historic moment. Most of the people I know in the UK felt Obama was the best choice. It’s a choice that really does effect the rest of the world.

I was up late watching it on TV. The news that Obama won was just the best ever. His speech was inspirational, as all his speeches are. It’s what we need in the world right now.

I was also very touched by McCain’s speech giving his support to the future president – he was gracious.

I am so excited that Obama won, he makes me believe in having hope.

Rachael Yamagata’s Words For Hotel Café Tourmates

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Wednesday (November 5), discussing the Hotel Café Tour and how things are going with her tourmates Meiko, , Thao Nguyen, Emily Wells, and Samantha Crain. The singer songwriter tells readers:

Meiko is the sassiest and always makes me laugh – up for adventure (she weathered the street celebrations in Philly the night of the World Series with me), Tao the coolest – her guitar riffs are infectious as well as her stage presence and I wake up every morning singing her songs, Sam the liveliest with neverending energy and wit as well as being my twin as we’re saying (long hair and bangs with sisterly style), Jenny is the heartbreaker and makes me want to cuddle her up after a show she can be so vulnerable when she sings (I would, but she don’t need it – as in she could beat my *ss) and Emily has just joined and is equally as sweet as the others and a total genius when it comes to all things electronic and violin.
