Miranda Cosgrove Discusses ‘iCarly’ Movie & Singing Career

‘iCarly’ star visited CW11 Morning News to talk about the show’s upcoming movie ‘iGo To Japan: Mud-Soaked Fun and The Ultimate Internet Prize’, which premiered on Saturday on Nickelodeon. Asked about her singing career was going, Miranda responded, “It’s going really good. I’m doing my own CD. It’s like pop rock music, and then I had an ‘iCarly’ CD out, but I only had four songs on it, and they were covers. So it’s cool to get to be writing songs.” Watch the interview at cw11.com.

Side Projects Are The Key To Girls Aloud’s Longevity

Nadine Coyle chatted with The Sun about the constant speculation surrounding the future of , suggesting the pop group has stayed together so long thanks to having side projects. “I like to have loads of things going on at the same time,” the 23-year-old said. “We can do whatever we want as well as being in . We can always come back to the band.”

But Coyle wouldn’t promise Girls Aloud would record a follow-up to their just released fifth album ‘Out of Control’. “I would say there will probably be another album,” she said.

Jordan McCoy Reacts To Keke Palmer’s New Nick Show

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Sunday (November 9), reacting to the premiere of Keke Palmer’s new Nickelodeon sitcom ‘True Jackson, VP’. The Dream singer writes:

I just watched the premiere and I’m absolutely loving it!!! I’ve known Keke since we were 11 on ‘American Juniors’. Many people don’t know this but the producers were actually saving Keke for the second season of AJs. So when they decided against another season, Keke started really focusing on acting. She did a few awesome movies and then signed with Atlantic Records, where we got to be label mates and work together some more. Now she’s got her own hit TV show and I couldn’t be happier for her! She’s worked really hard and deserves every bit of it.

Simon Cowell Furious With Mariah Carey’s Delays

The Mirror reports Simon Cowell isn’t too pleased with after the diva kept contestants on his hit show ‘The X Factor’ waiting for three hours at the Dorchester hotel in London on Friday, where they were to be mentored by the 38-year-old songbird. The delay prompted the singers to be late for rehearsals. “Simon was furious about the delays and really annoyed with Mariah,” a source told the British tabloid. “He just wanted the hopefuls to meet the star and get back to the studios. He got so frustrated at one stage he ordered an assistant to go to the Dorchester and order the contestants into their limos.”

Despite Playboy Deal, Jenny Frost Won’t Pose Naked

The Sun spoke with about her new role as the face and body for Playboy’s new lingerie line, where the former Atomic Kitten said those hoping to see her remove those bras and panties to pose naked for the men’s magazine will be disappointed. “Some of those Playboy magazine shots are beautiful, but I will be keeping my Bunny Bra firmly on,” 30-year-old said. Alesha Dixon Visits Radio City 96.7

Rick Vaughn spoke to former Mis-Teeq singer and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ winner on Radio City 96.7 FM’s Entertainment City in Liverpool, England. Dixon said despite tabloid reports indicating otherwise, she’s not going to America to look for love, and she wasn’t sure about a report that Dizzee Rascal had expressed a romantic interest. She said being dropped by Polydor was “one of the worst things” that happened to her professionally. “That was my time. That’s how I looked at that time. Things in Mis-Teeq went too smoothly,” she said. “It’s almost like, I know we had to hustle because Mis-Teeq signed with a very small independent dance label, and a lot of the artists that were signed to major labels would get on certain shows quicker than we would. By the time we got to the Brits and the Jubilee it was like a big deal for us, because it had taken us a long time to hustle through… Things with Mis-Teeq kind of went on the up, always climbed bigger and bigger. Mariah Carey Waited Until Marriage To Have Sex With Nick Cannon

tells The Mirror that during the two month courtship that led to her marriage to Nick Cannon, the couple waited to have sex. “It’s not that we had NO intimacy, we just didn’t have complete intimacy,” the 38-year-old explained. “It’s just me, and my feelings. I definitely don’t want to push it on anybody else. But we both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was, and it still is.”

Dannii Minogue Slams ‘Diva’ Simon Cowell

tells News of the World that ‘The X Factor’ creator Simon Cowell has been giving her the cold shoulder since star Cheryl Cole joined the judging team. Still, Dannii says Simon’s treatment is easier to deal with than the war she had with Sharon Osbourne the prior season.

“This year has been very emotional and I admit I’ve struggled to deal with it all, especially with Simon, who is the biggest diva on the show,” the 36-year-old said. “ doesn’t even compare to him! I guess Simon and I don’t talk much any more, definitely nothing like last year when I was next to him on the panel and was also the new girl. He moved me away from him and now sits next to Cheryl and is in her ear all the time. It is a snub but I’m fine. It’s nothing compared to what I had to go through last year.”
