Tyler Hilton Turns His New Album In to Warner Bros.

checked in with fans on his blog at MySpace on Saturday (October 31), having completed his new album, preparing for promo and getting the itch to do some acting. The singer songwriter tells readers:

Dang… you’d think I’d be used to losing my phone by now. But somehow every time it happens it hurts just the same. Ugh. I twitter from my phone so I’ve had to forgo my usual updates. Anyway, I want to fill you in on some highlights of the last week (and I suppose it was time to blog anyway). I officially turned the record in to Warner Bros. to be fussed over, listened to, thought on, and to generally cause sparks (the good kind). No more recording. That phase is closed. Chapter written. We move on.

It’s time I leave the world of producers and studio musicians and step into the world of brainstorming and working with my friends in the radio departments, the internet team, the arty album artwork folk, and the go getters in the sales dept. who will get this new music into your hands. I’m getting excited just watching my fingers clack away at this good news. I’ve been reading scripts since being out of the studio as well and looking at maybe doing some acting pretty soon. I kinda miss it and I won’t be going out on tour until next year anyway so…why not?

Check out the entire update here.

Nicol Checks In From Alesha Dixon Tour

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Saturday (October 31), discussing her tour supporting Alesha Dixon. The London based singer songwriter tells readers:

Just wanted to say a quick Hello – am having a great time on the Alesha Dixon tour- highlights include the crew’s dog coming on stage during Twinkle Twinkle (in Reading!) & hiding Crossy’s snare drum in the fridge of our dressing room – Sam fell asleep in a wardrobe and all the rest of it! We had a such a great time last night playing Manchester Apollo that after the show we spent an hour hanging out with the fans and signing stuff, this went on all of last week that our tour manager (TM – a big Prince fan!) had to get some security on board – we couldn’t have survived without him!

The entire post at MySpace has since been removed.

Josh Kelley’s New Album Is Almost Finished

updated fans on his blog at MySpace with an update on his upcoming album. The 29-year-old singer songwriter tells readers:

I’ve never worked so hard on an album in my career as a musician – not to say the old stuff is not still close to my heart – but over the years now of learning how to really craft a great song and be patient in the process is making this new album something extra special – the tentative plans for now are to release a single end of Feb 2010 and then the album will follow soon after – I know you’re gonna love it – I’ll start previewing some songs within the next few weeks – so again I’m sorry for being a stranger over these past few months – its hard for me to focus on too many things at once but i know i can’t do this without the eyes and ears of the fans – i hope you are all well – lets own 2010 shall we – JK
