JoJo Is Taking Steps To Finally Release New Album

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Thursday (November 5), offering an update on her long delayed third album ‘All I Want Is Everything’. The 18-year-old writes:

Can’t get too specific with what is going on with the album yet, but I promise you we are taking all the steps to get it out to you. Unfortunately, it is not as simple as “Okay, the deals done, now we’re just going to throw the album on the shelves!” There are so many steps that lead up to the final result.

It has been a long frustrating road, but I believe by faith that 2010 is going to be my best yet. I know alot of records have been leaked, and it bothers me SO MUCH, but I want you to know that they only scratch the surface of what I have been working on. The album has most certainly not been spoiled or disrupted because of hackers/leakers.

Katharine McPhee Teases Upcoming Walmart Soundcheck

Nelly Furtado ‘Más’ Video Behind The Scenes

Footage of on the set of her new video ‘Más’ has been posted online. The track is off her latest album ‘Mi Plan’. “Basically my whole album ‘Mi Plan’ is about mostly songs about love and everyday life and really basic simple pop songs,” Furtado says in the video. “This song in particular is probably one of the best pop songs on the album.” Watch the clip via MySpace below.

Emilie Simon ‘Dreamland’ Recording Process

Emilie Simon posted footage made during the process of recording ‘Dreamland’, a trach from the French pop singer’s fourth studio album ‘The Big Machine’. Simon is seen performing the track at the Cutting Room in October 2008 before she’s seen at Euphoria Rehearsal Studios in New York City and Wild Sky Studios in Montreal composing the track. Tom Fletcher of checked in with fans on their blog at MySpace on Thursday (November 5), offering an update on the pop rock band’s upcoming album. Fletcher writes:

Hope you’re all well. Sorry Not blogged much. To update you on what we’re doing, we are spending the rest of the year writing and making demos for our next album. We have written a lot of songs since ‘Radio:ACTIVE’ and started recording some of them earlier in the year in Sydney. There were a couple of songs that really stood out above the rest and in the recording sessions we realized that we’d found a new direction that we thought could be really interesting and different.

Mollie King Checks In After ‘The Christmas Carol’ Premiere

Mollie King of updated fans on the British girl group’s blog at MySpace on Thursday (November 5) after attending the premiere of ‘The Christmas Carol’ on Wednesday. King writes:

I feel a bit like Carrie Bradshaw writing an article, hehe, I can’t say it’ll have any relationship tips though, dammit! I’m looking back at photos on the internet you guys have posted on the forum!! I cannot believe we actually met Jim Carrey last night!! HOW COOL ARE WE!!! Haha!! He had grown a Santa beard especially for the occasion I think… well he looked very Christmassy let’s put it that way!! I was kind of expecting him to jump into character and start pulling all these funny faces but he played it cool so I thought we’d better too!!

We got to walk down the red carpet at The Christmas Carol premiere last night too which I LOVED doing!!! I always want to scream “Ooo I’m on the red carpet’ but I managed to hold it in!!
