Liz McClarnon Joins Jeff Wayne’s ‘The War Of The Worlds’

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Tuesday (November 10), revealing what the “big anouncement” was she had teased earlier. The former Atomic Kitten writes:

I shall be playing the role of Beth in the new 2010 Tour of Jeff Wayne’s “The War of The Worlds”!!

I’m so very excited to be involved in the show, and although it seems quite a long way off now, I’m sure it will come around in no girl at all. Oh and girls… guess who I will be staring alongside… none other than 80s heart throb himself Mr Jason Donovan! Oh yes!!

We are taking the Tour to UK and Europe, so I really hope as many of you as possible will come and along and support me at your nearest venue.

Natasha Bedingfield Hopes To Release Third Album “Early Next Year”

checked in with fans on her blog at MySpace on Monday (November 9), discussing her visit to Jamaica with husband Matt Robinson and continued progress on the follow-up to ‘Pocketful of Sunshine’. The pop singer tells readers:

Anyway, just wanted to touch base with everyone on here. I’m still writing for the next album. It should be out sometime early next year hopefully. I’ve been writing with Kleerup, John Hill, Wycleff, Salaam Remy, Ryan Tedder, Sia, Eg White, Wayne Wilkins, Phonogenic, Mike Elizondo, John Shanks, Danielle Brisebois and some others.

You all know, writing is my favorite part of the music process. I’m really savoring it and working on a sound that is fresh and brings everything up a few notches. I can’t wait for you to hear the new material. Meanwhile check out the music of some of my MySpace mates. I love them!
