Adam Lambert Performs & Discusses AMA Controversy On ‘The Early Show’

appeared on ‘The Early Show’ in New York City on Wednesday morning (November 25), discussing his controversial performance at the American Music Awards and the network that aired the broadcast dropping him from performing on ‘Good Morning America’ in response. Lambert echoed comments made to KIIS FM’s Ryan Seacrest yesterday, feeling no apology is warranted for his ‘For Your Entertainment’ performance. He said that “if it had been a female pop performer doing (his) moves that were on the stage, I don’t think there would be nearly as much of an outrage. I think it’s because I’m a gay male.”

‘A Night In with Cheryl Cole’ On ITV

will be performing material from her first solo album in a television special she’ll be hosting later this year. The Girls Aloud star will be welcoming guests such as Rihanna, Alexandra Burke and Will Young during ‘A Night In with ’ on ITV.

Cheryl says, “2009 has been an incredible year for me with a number 1 single and a number 1 album and being part of ‘The X Factor’. And I couldn’t be happier that ITV have asked me to round off the year with my own show, working with some of my favorite artists.”

Patrick Wolf Feeling Charitable For Christmas

I have luckily never spent Christmas on my own or homeless but have been close to a few times and in my position now I just want to give a raincheck that Christmas shouldn’t be always about buying the most expensive thing you can for yourself or your partner or family. We never know where we might end up, it’s important not to take what we have for granted don’t you think?

So, I’m thinking we should give more to charity a at this time of year… especially in the face of this god awful time of man that is bringing down many great people to a grinding halt. Not to be miserable, but everything is going to get better because it cant get any worse!! Let’s do what we can together to make a difference to other peoples lives.

Yesterday I went to Yo! Sushi. I’m a regular there, I literally go all the time. I’m obsessed with salmon, I’ll eat anything with salmon in it, so I always get a few of those dishes, and I also love their tofu ones. I watched X Factor this weekend too and I was a bit sad about John and Edward leaving! Not sure who I’m rooting for now… I do like Olly, I think he’s cute and I think Joe has a really great voice. I love Dannii Minogue, she’s my favorite judge at the moment. I saw her wandering around the Rod Laver stadium in Melbourne once with her boyfriend, who’s super-hot.
