Robert Kahn of Newsday reports comedian David Alan Grier provided one of the evening’s lighter moments at the MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday (August 29) by grabbing a mic from WPIX entertainment reporter Toni Senecal and chasing Kylie Minogue down the red carpet. “Kylie! Kylie!” he screamed, mocking the hundreds of reporters hollering the singer’s name and trying to bait her into talking.
