David Cook Discusses ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ And Debut Album

David Cook was on the phone with ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ to talk about last week’s ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ show that was on ABC, NBC and CBS. The ‘American Idol’ season seven winner also talked about what fans can expect on his debut album, which he says is targetted for a November 18th release. “It will be a rock record,” Cook said. “Really what myself and everybody associated with the record is trying to do is just make it interesting. Try to put out something that’s gonna be able to stand up long after I’m gone, and that’s really been the goal.” Cook then talked about working with Skechers, following the post ‘Idol’ footsteps of Carrie Underwood.
