David Lee Roth Sees Danger Ahead For Christina Aguilera

Blender magazine asked Van Halen’s former frontman David Lee Roth if he felt any younger stars embodied the spirit of Dave-ness. “Someone like Christina Aguilera is a work in progress,” Roth replied. “She’s trying to sharpen herself while in the public eye, and that’s always a difficult prospect. I don’t think she’s going to do it. I see a lot of trouble there. I see an unhappy little gal who didn’t really figure out who she was before she came under the microscope.”
