David Letterman joked during his Late Show monologue on Tuesday night, “I have a personal dilemma. Help me out. Is it too soon to hit on Britney Spears? … Did you hear about that? Britney Spears got married out in the Las Vegas strip. It went just like any marriage. It was great for the first ten minutes and then just fell apart… She had the marriage annulled. Her reasoning for having it annulled was for not understanding her actions. Which that’s the same way that I became a father.”
