Tony Parsons of The Mirror shared his thoughts on the uproar over Madonna’s adoption of a 13-month old African orphan called David Banda and her plans to donate over $3.5 million of her money to child welfare in Malawi. “So how the hell does she get painted as some kind of villain,” Parsons asks. “Madonna’s adoption plans seem like nothing but good news. Good news for one lucky little boy, good news for the other impoverished Malawian children who will be helped by her generosity and good news for the blighted country of Malawi itself.”
