Entertainment Tonight is investigate reports that Debbie Rowe is unhappy with Michael Jackson’s ties with the Nation of Islam and is concerned with their children’s safety. “She was definitely sending a message to Michael,” ET legal correspondent Marcia Clark said. “She wants everyone to know, ‘I may not be able to cause any legal problems, I may not be able to bring you to court, I may not be able to get custody, but I can cause you big [public relations] problems,’ and that’s exactly what she did.” Sources close to the situation tell ET that Rowe met with Jackson’s associates, Dieter Wiesner and Mark Schaffel, reportedly over concerns about the nanny looking after the two children she had with Jackson and their contact with members of the Nation of Islam.
