Delta Goodrem Cleans Up At ARIAs

The ARIAs became the Deltas last night as teen sensation Delta Goodrem made musical history. Goodrem won an astonishing seven ARIA awards at the Australian music industry’s night of nights, breaking Natalie Imbruglia’s record haul of six awards in 1999. “To all the Australian public out there, if you ever think there’s not wonderful people out there in the world then come and visit my house and see all the beautiful letters and well-wishes that I got in the last two months, because there is really beautiful people out there,” the 18-year-old Neighbours star told the cheering crowd.
