ABC released a doctored publicity photo on Tuesday, featuring Dick Clark with his co-hosts for this year’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve telecast from Times Square, Hilary Duff and Ryan Seacrest. The move fueled talk that Clark hasn’t recovered from the stroke he was struck with a year ago and may be unable to properly perform on Saturday night. “He can absolutely walk around – and, of course, he can talk,” longtime Clark publicist Paul Shefrin told The New York Post. “He’s been working for the past year to do this – and he’s really looking forward to it.”
