Dick Clark Wants To Revive ‘Bandstand’

The New York Post reports Dick Clark says he’s on the verge of signing a deal to bring back ‘American Bandstand’ as a syndicated show. He said current popular singers have been eager to portray 1960s artists on the ‘American Bandstand’ segment of ‘American Dreams’. “It’s been an amazing response,” Clark said. “They ask, ‘Can I be on? Can I do this?’”
