Did Jessica Simpson’s Dad Tip Off Paps On Tony Romo Vacation In Cabo?
Ben Widdicombe of The New York Daily News is hearing some people are pointing the finger at Jessica Simpson’s manager/father Joe for tipping of the paparazzi his daughter and her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, were headed to Cabo during the team’s bye week. It was the pictures that had many fans and the media criticizing the QB, especially after the top seeded team lost in their first playoff game against the New York Giants on Sunday.
“Joe is well-known for his deals with the paparazzi, where the family gets a cut from the sales of the photographs,” an insider explained. “Nobody would have known that Tony was down in Mexico with Jessica if there hadn’t been those pictures everywhere. So a lot of people suspect he tipped off the photographers, causing Tony this huge headache.”
But a rep for the singer/”actress” was quick to dismiss the speculation, telling Widdicombe, “Joe would never sell out his daughter to the media and would never do anything to hurt his own family or for that matter, Tony. This is categorically false.”
