Did Michael Jackson Himself Leak Grand Jury Testimony?

Cop-turned-investigative-journalist John Connolly and private eye Paul Barresi tell The New York Daily News they believe is behind the leaking of 1,903 pages of grand jury testimony to the Smoking Gun Web site, hoping to cause a mistrial or take away the prosecution’s element of surprise. “Jackson’s defense can argue that he can’t get a fair trial, now that potential jurors have seen the [grand jury] testimony,” Connolly reasoned. “They can argue this poisoned the water. And the timing, one day after he enters the hospital, is uncanny.”
