Diva Label Is Most Untrue About J.Lo

Love of INSite magazine recently chatted with Jennifer Lopez (before word of her split with Cris Judd) and asked whether she feels the diva reputation bothered her. “The diva thing is the one stigma that’s been attached to me that I think is the most untrue,” she said. “People expect that when they meet me, but when it’s dispelled they’re just as puzzled by it as I am. I’m a professional, and I try to do my job the best that I can. I think people just like to create an image around you because it’s entertaining. ‘Jennifer Ordered 500 Candles!’ Who’s gonna use 500 candles?! It’s just ridiculous – maybe I called down at a hotel and asked for a few candles, but people hear that and then they take it to another level for entertainment purposes.”
