DJs Speculate On Clay Aiken’s Sexual Preference
The ‘Steve & DC Morning Show’ had a segment on Friday (February 11), asking if ‘American Idol’ season two runner-up Clay Aiken is gay. They took a call from an openly lesbian caller named Renee who claimed her “gay-dar” indicates that Aiken is “absolutely family, he’s absolutely gay.” The woman claimed that Aiken’s hands, the way he walks, and the way he talks indicate his sexual preference, though the DJ’s argued those are stereotypes. They also compared the speculation about Elton John’s sexual preference until he came out.The 6-minute segment has since been removed from steveanddc.com.
