Don’t Apologize For Britney Spears

I wanted to respond to amusicfanofsoul’s article about how bad they thought Britney’s Saturday Night Live performance was, and all the other articles that people posted talking about how much they dislike Britney.
You guys complain about how much you claim to ‘hate’ Britney. I really think that you like her and are trying to hide it. I think that it is OK is someone really does not like Britney, but you guys are just rediculous. If you don’t like her, then why do I see you commenting on every single Britney article trying to find her faults, no one is perfect. If you don’t like her don’t listen to her music, don’t watch her performances, don’t buy her CDs. You know every little thing about her, down to her dance moves, and then you complain about everything. If you don’t like her then don’t go and complain about her, it’s not going to make her go away.
If she is such a bad singer and performer why has she sold more albums than any other female artist and had sold out tours all over the world? Answer me that.
Like Britney has said, “When people scrutinize me, that’s just all the more reason to raise the bar and do something more crazy.”
