Duff Wraps Up Mini-Tour, Prepares To Promote ‘Material Girls’

Hilary Duff checked in with fans on her blog at AOL’s KOL service on Thursday (August 3). “Hey guys! What’s up? I am at the end of my 8 city tour,” Duff writes. “Canada was lovely. I finished in New Jersey at the Taj Mahal and then Toms River which was a cool energetic show. I love it there. I am now in Northern Carolina at Fort Bragg doing a show for military families. Tomorrow, I go home to LA for a few days and then to NY to premiere ‘Material Girls’ with my sister Haylie. It opens on August 18th! I hope that I have time to catch Haylie in ‘Hairspray’ again while I’m there. It was soooo good. She is acting on Broadway for about 3 more months. Joel is coming to the premiere with his brother. They created the remix of Madonna’s song, ‘Material Girl’, for the movie. I can’t wait till it opens!”
