Robin Schroffel of the Edmonton Sun was on hand for Hilary Duff’s concert at Rexall Place on Friday night to endure “the sheer volume of a few thousand little girls shrieking their mini lungs out.” Schroffel writes, “Duff’s strongest point is her wholesomeness – the fact that she appears onstage in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt (none of this Britney/Christina trashy half-naked garbage) is totally respectable; keeping things fairly age-appropriate shows that her audience is actually taken into consideration. Still, a disturbing number – say 15% – of these kids are creepily caked with makeup and dressed to kill in totally inappropriate mini-miniskirts.”
