Elvis Stage Role Linked To Justin Timberlake

Liz Smith of The New York Post is hearing a hot rumor out of Los Angeles that Justin Timberlake will interpret Elvis Presley in a Miramax stage venture, to be titled ‘All Shook Up.’ The *NSYNC star’s people say “absolutely no way” and Miramax didn’t return Smith’s phone calls. Smith writes, “Timberlake has admitted to admiring the late legend, but it is unlikely he’d want to draw comparisons in an impersonation. And at this point even the most sincere Presley imitation comes off like parody. That said, I think Justin would be an excellent ’50s-era Elvis.”
