EMI Squashes Robbie Williams’ Plan To Duet With Best Pal

The Sunday People reports EMI has nixed Robbie Williams’ plan to record a duet with best pal Jonathan Wilkes. “It wasn’t thought a good selling point to have Robbie working with someone whose profile is so much lower,” an insider explained. “It wouldn’t do Robbie’s brand any good.” Williams had promised the 24-year-old stage star that he’d perform a track with him.
