Eminem Compared To Madonna

Edna Gundersen of USA Today spoke with several in the music business that have Eminem being compared to everyone from Elvis, Axl Rose, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, and Madonna. Blender editor Craig Marks says Slim may have to tone down the juvenile shtick if he wants the staying power of Madonna. “Outrageousness wears thin,” Marks says. “Part of his talent is scaring the grown-ups, which at a certain point will be harder. That’s when we’ll see how much talent and initiative and fresh ideas he has up his sleeve.” He does admit though, “They’re both ambitious blonds.” Read more.
