Jim Farber of the New York Daily News watched Enrique Iglesias perform at the sold-out Radio City show Saturday night, where he says the singer defied the norm of crossover Latin pop singers. Farber said Enrique’s voice sounded “whiney in some numbers, then suspiciously sonorous in the next.” He also criticized the skimpy scope of the show, but said as a positive: “Iglesias made up for his losses by offering an original twist on the Latin lover cliche.”
