Enrique Iglesias may have to polish up his sales pitch for his True Star Men fragrance in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. When Ben Widdicombe of The New York Daily News asked the crooner what scent he used to wear on dates, Iglesias responded, “When I was 14 or 15, I wore Escape.” Asked if it worked, he responded, “Definitely not. I never got laid, actually.” As for what did work for him, instead of suggesting the True Star scent would do the trick, Iglesias said, “Having a hit record worked.”
