Comedian Ted Alexandro was on Last Call with Carson Daly Friday where he joked during his stand-up, “Yeah. So, just had the [9.11] anniversary of all the things that happened in the country. I stopped watching the news after a while. You know, kind of depressing — same stories over and over again. I started watching the entertainment news. That was a good diversion — you watch that. I saw an interview with one of the Backstreet Boys, who was like, ‘You know, when something like this happens, it makes you feel like what you do is insignificant.’ And I thought, you know — [ Laughter ] — You should feel that way all the time. Because what you do — [ Laughter ] — Is insignificant. Hold onto that feeling, A.J.”
