Excitable London Audience Welcomes Kelly Clarkson

The Sunday Mirror was on hand for ‘American Idol’ season one champ Kelly Clarkson’s performance at Hammersmith Apollo in London, England on Wednesday (February 22). “The audience at this London date were one of the most excitable I’ve seen in a long time – with half of them on their feet before the first song had even finished,” the unnamed writer said. “Made up largely of teenage girls, they screamed wildly at Kelly throughout, in a way usually reserved for boy bands. It’s not surprising they’ve turned their attention to Kelly though. On stage, she looked just like any one of her fans in the audience.”
