Expect Britney Spears At Nyla Red-Carpet Opening

Joe Dziemianowicz of the New York Dailiy News was at the preview for Britney Spears’ new restaurant Nyla, but Britney herself wasn’t. The singer is expected for the restaurant’s red-carpet opening on June 27th though. Her operating partner Bobby Ochs says Spears was very much involved in putting the restaurant together though. The logo is based on her handwriting, she showed up “for a good hour” to approve fabric swatches, requested candles for the fireplace, nixed zebra-striped banquette fabrics, and after her breakup to *NSYNC’s Justin Timberlake, Britney insisted that the restaurant use pink sparingly.
