Family Source: Painkillers Had Taken Over Michael Jackson’s Life
With news of Michael Jackson’s death, the Daily Mail is expanding on their story last month that the singer was struggling to take part in rehearsals for his comeback tour, which was due to start in July at the O2 in London. Alison Boshoff initially cited Jackson’s problems with painkiller use to explain why he’d only attended two out of more than 45 rehearsals, but a Jackson family source said he was “just not able to pick himself up out of the painkiller stupor” that he was in. The unnamed insider added, “He has pain in his back and that is the reason for the drugs, but it is obvious that the painkillers have taken over his life. His family is telling him to ditch the medications and get on with the tour.” Read more.
