Fans Are Thankful For Mariah Carey

Contributed by monarc20:

On Thursday, most Americans are taking time off to celebrate Thanksgiving, a tradition that was first started in 1621 by Native American Indians and Pilgrims, and now has become a time to offer thanks and reflect on the things that have brought us joy throughout our year and our entire lives.

fans have much to be thankful for this year, as 2003 ushered in a multi-platinum selling album, a critically acclaimed world performance tour, one of the biggest radio hits of the year, and a handful of awards including those presented by the World Music Awards, Soul Train Music Awards, and NRJ Radio Music Awards.

These awards come in addition to an award presented by Z100 for Mariah’s philanthropy work in the New York City area and an RIAA commemorative certification award recognizing Mariah’s unprecedented 100 Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum certifications – a rare and distinguished feat that few artists have accomplished.

Indeed this is one of Mariah’s happiest and brightest moments ever, which should make us thankful the most. As Mariah wraps up an amazing year, we look forward to the future gifts of her talent and remember the things that made us thankful throughout the past.

Radio DJ’s and the public seem to really love Mariah’s Christmas music. Every time I turn on the Radio at this time of year I hear like 2 different Christmas song’s of Mariah’s. Plus she’s coming back to the U.S to do a few more Concerts before she wrap’s up her tour and she’s even gonna sing a few Christmas songs. Who’s going to any of the U.S Dates, cause I know I am.

She’s not coming anywhere close to where I live unfortunately. I do think she should make a 2nd Christmas CD. Everyone seems to have helped her first one to become a modern classic.

Mariah was he biggest flop story of the year. Everything she did was a failure. Her Remix album already fell off the Billboard Top 200. Her tour was a bust, no one went to see that boring crap. All her singles bombed, did anyone ever hear the Def Leppard cover on the radio. Yep this may go down as Mariah’s biggest flop year to date and it’s no easy task to beat the year that the Glitter bomb came out.

MONARC20 IS A THIEF! It is nice to know that monarc20 also copied this word for word from It’s a real shame that not only can people not be original, but they don’t even wanna give credit to others when they steal.

LOL lambs hating on lambs. Who’s more insecure and needy Mariah or the flops? I am thankful that we have Mariah too, she’s always good for a joke or 10,000 or a fake breakdown or a roll of fat or a free cooter shot. LOL! Thanks flop

I AGREE! The more you hate the more promotion Mariah gets… hahaha I love it!

  9. webanging says:

I love how all the promotion in the world can’t give Mariah a hit record. Just look at Glitter, how heavily was that promoted. The more promotion Mariah gets the harder she flops. lol

That’s nice. I’m a casual fan, not hardcore, but I’m glad her more serious fans are so happy and proud of her accomplishments.

I didn’t mean to pass it off my own I just thought it was very well written and Popdirt doesn’t name the Source of their News. Anyway this is her biggest Tour of her Career and it did so well she extended it. So keep harping on Mariah’s downfall’s cause she will always have more successes then she has a failure!
