Fans Brave Below Freezing Temps For Britney Spears Tickets

Ray Westbrook of the Avalanche Journal reports fans of Britney Spears braved below freezing temperatures in Lubbock, Texas to pick up tickets to her concert at United Spirit Arena on June 14. The tickets were made available Saturday morning, and fans were prepared for the cold. Kim Thompson, a Texas Tech sophomore revealed, “We brought a tent, we’ve got eight sleeping bags, we have a kerosene heater – and everybody wears like eight layers of clothes.” As for why she’d do such a thing just to see Britney, she explained, “She’s an individual, and she’s not afraid to be who she is.” Read more.
