Fans Freak Out When Britney Spears Hits Scottsdale Mall

Jaimee Rose and Anne Ryman of The Arizona Republic report Britney Spears went to Scottsdale Fashion Square on Tuesday, was mobbed by fans, and spent $300 at an Abercrombie store. Mandi McKinney, 19, said of Spears’ trip to the store with her mother, her little sister, her sister’s friend, and a bodyguard: “I thought she’d be rude, but they were just really, really nice. They just seem like ordinary people when you meet them face-to-face.” Britney’s mother was so nice to her, she ended up getting a pair of choice tickets to the America West Arena earlier this week.
