The first single from Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming CD will be ‘Get Right’. The video for the song will appear on MTV’s ‘Making of the Video’ on December 8th. Lopez’s new CD will be released in 2005 and includes a duet with fellow Bronx native Fat Joe called ‘Hold You Down’. Fat Joe says he loves working with Jennifer on several levels. He told Sunny 95 FM in Columbus, “J.Lo, baby, it’s always good to be involved with J.Lo. She pays well, she looks beautiful, she smells great. But the record is a special record. It’s a record about us growing up in the Bronx and being friends and she going on to Hollywood and being a major star and now I’m doing my thing in rap music and even though we don’t see each other all the time, we keep it real with each other. We’ve got love for each other. It’s a friendship record, it’s a bonding record.” The interview has since been removed from wsny.net.
