World Entertainment News Network reports Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas has forged a close friendship with Cameron Diaz, despite the fact that she used to date her current beau, Justin Timberlake. Fergie insists her romance with the *NSYNC star was never that serious. “It was a flirt fest. He was 17, I was 23. At first I wouldn’t date him because he was too young,” Fergie explained. “It was never serious, but we had a bond.”
