Ferras updated fans on his blog at MySpace on Sunday (September 28), talking about the origin behind his song ‘Marshmallow Spaceship’ and what’s been keeping him away lately. The Los Angeles based pop singer writes:
If you wanna know why I’ve been sorta mia -
I’ve been writing writing writing… Holed up in my house – between appearance here and show there.
I’m working on a whole new batch of songs. Doing a lot of self-discovery and analyzing my life, the world I live in, the people I love (and who either love or don’t love me back), the experiences I’ve had thus far – hope, disallusionment, longing, pain. These are prevalent themes.
Who knows where I’ll be emotionally when it’s time to present another record -
but right now, I’m just existing and writing. And writing and existing.
