Feuds: The Latest Celebrity Trend

Contributed by xreflejo:

It seems every celebrity has one, Ashlee Simpson, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Usher, and many more celebs are all involved in feuds with other stars. First there’s Britney Spears, though her most famous feud was with fellow pop star , Britney is now taking on Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC. She has been claiming for some time that she is a bigger and better asset to their mutual record label Jive, a claim that Justin begs to differ on in less than flattering ways. Since I’m on the subject of Justin Timberlake might as well mention the things that Usher says about him. I’m not sure how these two became adversaries but it seems Usher is the one fueling the fire. By calling Justin a bleep on TV, I’m sure he was looking for Justin to fire back at him.

Then there’s . She has the most of any artist. First, there’s Lindsay Lohan who was asked to leave Hilary’s premiere of The Lizzie McGuire movie and then told that she was not to come to the premiere of A Cinderella Story, all because of their previous dislike of each other over mutual boyfriend Aaron Carter. Then there’s Avril Lavigne whom has been going on an anti-Hilary rampage for a while now, taking verbal jabs at the Duffster. More recently it’s Miss Ashlee Simpson who it verbally attacking Hilary’s music career, she was quoted as saying, “What’s the point of being an artist if you have to be like ?”

And then there’s the Queen of celebrity feuds Christina Aguilera herself. Her latest target, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. This comes after reports of him beating up ex-girlfriend . Christina, being a witness to domestic abuse and a supporter of the coalition against domestic violence wasn’t going to sit by quietly and keep her opinion to herself.
