Focus For Mariah Carey More On The Album And Music

Entertainment Weekly chatted with Jimmy Jam about Mariah Carey’s new album for their Fall Music Preview. Jam says, “What we worked on is similar to ‘Rainbow’ and ‘Glitter’. Our contribution didn’t change that much.” Jam added that he feels the entire album more resembles the more successful ‘Rainbow’ album. “To me, ‘Glitter’ was a soundtrack album; it wasn’t a Mariah album. This time, the focus is more on the album and the music.”
