Nelly Furtado discussed her new album ‘Folklore’ in an interview with the Fox News Channel. Furtado talked about pressure of being labeled a fluke if her sophomore album fails, her new baby girl and recording while pregnant, and her many musical influences that “make me different and make me special.” Furtado also responded to how she contrasts from other pop stars like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Pink. FoxNews.com has since removed the video.

Good interview. I only heard one song from her new CD- I liked it. The critics gave very mixed reviews, however. She spoke from the heart during the interview without slamming other artists. She thinks women should be seen more 3-dimensionally (spiritually, emotionally & physically). Which is ideal but does not seem to matter in the current music business.
