The People reports Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates has purchased a 19th century farm near Keighley, West Yorks for $1 million. The singer already owns a penthouse in London’s Notting Hill. A pal said: “Gareth loves life in London but his dream was always to buy a big place in the country away from the hustle and bustle.”
