The Glasgow Daily Record reports Gareth Gates doesn’t only suffer from a stammer he also has terrible migraines which can knock him out for days. The Pop Idol runner-up said: “My whole left side goes numb and I wait for the pain to come. Then I go and lie down in a dark room and wait for it to pass. Sometimes it can last about eight hours and take a day to recover, and I feel really weak afterwards. I get sick every half hour and if eat or drink anything it comes straight back up.”
