Gareth Gates Not Dropped

A message on ‘Pop Idol’ runner-up Gareth Gates’ official website posted Monday says that despite reports in the paper over the weekend, they can confirm that Gareth has not been dropped. Tim Bowen, Chairman of BMG Records said: “This is ridiculous. We have not dropped Gareth Gates. He is currently in the studio recording new material.” 19 Entertainment added “Gareth is an extremely talented musician and 19 Entertainment are commited to him. His performance at the Royal Hall was fantastic and, everyone attending fully enjoyed it – particular his acoustic version of ‘Sunshine’ which went down a storm!”
