George Michael Thinks He Deliberately Got Himself Arrested

George Michael spoke with BBC Radio 1′s Jo Whiley earlier today where he revealed that he thinks he got himself deliberately arrested for lewd conduct in 1998 to try to refocus his life after a string of tragedies, including the deaths of his mother and former partner, Anselmo Feleppa. As for whether he was surprised fellow gay pop star Will Young came out, he said, “Was I surprised? I don’t want to be insulting, but about as surprised as people were with me probably – and they’d had 18 years to work on it.” Read more.
