The Sun reports George Michael’s label Universal Polydor suggested he shouldn’t release ‘Shoot The Dog’, suggesting it may be career suicide if he did. “Emotions are still running high in America and the UK after September 11 and the track was always going to get a bad reaction,” said a source. “But bosses are desperate to get their hands on his album because it’s sure to be a hit, although they now fear that George may have killed his career.” Read more.
