Deanne Jade, principal and founder of the National Centre of Eating Disorders, says, “Geri attracted legions of young girl fans in her Spice Girl days who bought into an image of a vivacious woman sporting tight dresses which revealed a healthy, hour-glass figure. She admitted being a sufferer of bulimia in her first book and is trying to cash in on it again by promoting another book with a picture of her looking dangerously underweight with a tape measure.”
