Ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has dramatically pulled out of her Australian tour, claiming she was insulted by Melbourne radio station FOX FM’s Hot30.com. The station’s DJs Kyle and Jackie O. played her a pre-recorded question from rival Posh Spice simply asking her “Hi, how are you?” Rumba organizer Sean Pickwell said of the decision, “To be steaming over something so trivial for so long and then, this close to the event, pull out is a real slap in the face. Geri’s cancelling isn’t a war issue, it’s a fruity-cake issue.”
As for the Hot30.com interview, the offending question doesn’t seem to be listed in the website’s archive and may be from a different interview.
