British director David Green decided to cancel financing for ‘Therapy’ because big name actors including Hugh Grant, Kenneth Branagh, Ben Chaplin, and others all turned down the role that would have had them star opposite former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. Green told the UK Mirror that nobody complained about the film script, saying, “one can only conclude that maybe they didn’t want to work with a pop star attempting an acting career.”
