‘Gigli’ A ‘Disaster’

Jami Bernard of the New York Daily News reviewed the Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck starring movie ‘Gigli’, which hits theaters Friday. Bernard says the film “is a disaster.” Giving the flick only 1 star, she added, “The impending nuptials of Lopez and Affleck lead the public to expect a romantic comedy with a happily-ever-after ending. However, the script, by writer-director-producer Martin Brest, looks as if it began life as a crime drama with a heart. It has since morphed into a comedy without a pulse.”
